Samantha Brown (Modern Dance, Jazz, Tap)

Samantha Brown is a classically trained dancer who studied the traditional English ballet style from the Royal Academy of Dance. She completed all examinations up through and including Advanced obtaining her ARAD status from the Academy. She has trained both locally and internationally with many renowned ballerinas such as Violette Verdy and Suzanne Farrell. Classical roles include "Aurora," "Bluebird," and the "Lilac Fairy" from The Sleeping Beauty and "Dew Drop Fairy" and "Chocolate" from The Nutcracker. Samantha has danced with many local dance companies including the New England Dance Ensemble, the Portland Ballet Company, Ballet New England, and the Portsmouth Ballet Company. She is also an American Academy of Ballet national gold medalist. Not only a professional ballerina, she is also an accomplished dancer in tap, jazz, hip hop, pointe, street funk, modern, and lyrical. She earned a dual B.A. In both Dance and French, the language of ballet.
With her Master's Degree in Elementary Education, Samantha currently teaches 7th and 8th grade Math in the Candia, NH. When she is not teaching or dancing, she is making chocolate as an apprentice chocolatier in Manchester, NH.
